Breda McNelis is inspired by the Irish landscape. She creates her art pieces from fine merino wools, hand painted silks and select yarns, using needle felting, fabric manipulation and embroidery skills.

"I've always had a passion for textiles. I returned to college in 2009 to study Fashion and Textiles. This has brought me on a wonderful journey of exploration. My current collection of work has grown out of themes that I worked on that are of particular interest to me, including the Irish Seashore with it's rocks, lichens and seaweeds."v
