The Lake Isle Of Innisfree by W B Yeats
The Lake Isle of Innisfree is arguably W B Yeats' best known and most loved poem. The 1837 antiquarian map detail here is of Innisfree island & the south shore of Lough Gill, County Sligo. The poem was written in 1890 and was included in Yeats 1893 collection The Rose.

Working with Sligo based graphic designer Daragh Stuart we have set the poetry of W.B. Yeats against 1837 antiquarian maps of the County Sligo locations that inspired him to write some of his greatest poetry. The prints are wonderful gifts, a little piece of Sligo for visitors to take away and for family and friends overseas.
Giclee prints are a state-of-the-art rendering, merging professional grade digital print with archival pigment inks and fine-art watercolour papers. The paper used is an acid free unbuffered pulp which along with the pigmented inks will last over 75 years without fading, if not displayed in direct sunlight
