The Wild Swans at Coole by W B Yeats
This poem extract was inspired by a fright W B Yeats got during a walk in the woods at Coole Park, as a flock of swans dramatically took to the air over the still and quiet woodland lake.
This art print features an image from 1837 ordnance map of Coole Park. County Galway.
Unframed Mounted Giclee Print. Celo Bag Ideal for posting.
Framed under glass. White wood frame.
Working with Sligo based graphic designer Daragh Stuart we have set the poetry of W.B. Yeats against 1837 antiquarian maps of the Irish locations that inspired him to write some of his greatest poetry. The prints are wonderful gifts, a little piece of Sligo for visitors to take away and for family and friends overseas.
Giclee prints are a state-of-the-art rendering, merging professional grade digital print with archival pigment inks and fine-art watercolour papers. The paper used is an acid free unbuffered pulp which along with the pigmented inks will last over 75 years without fading, if not displayed in direct sunlight.
