The Stolen Child by W B Yeats
The Stolen Child is one of Yeats most iconic poems from his beloved County Sligo. Written in 1886 it appeared in his second book of poems "Crossways". Our chosen image is from an 1837 ordnance survey map, featuing "the rocky highland of Slishwood" and Lough Gill in County Sligo.

Working with Sligo based graphic designer Daragh Stuart we have set the poetry of W.B. Yeats against 1837 antiquarian maps of the County Sligo locations that inspired him to write some of his greatest poetry. The prints are wonderful gifts, a little piece of Sligo for visitors to take away and for family and friends overseas.
Giclee prints are a state-of-the-art rendering, merging professional grade digital print with archival pigment inks and fine-art watercolour papers. The paper used is an acid free unbuffered pulp which along with the pigmented inks will last over 75 years without fading, if not displayed in direct sunlight.
