Where Craft Meets Place
The Journey of a Maker

The Designer & Founder
Jewellery designer, artist and founder of The Cat & The Moon, Martina Hamilton has been creating award-winning collections from her Sligo studio for over thirty years. Her work is inspired by the wild beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast—shaped by light, landscape and a deep sense of place.

Craft Rooted in Place
Every design begins with her connection to the landscape. The movement of the tide, the texture of stone, the shifting light—all find quiet expression in her jewellery, handcrafted in precious metals and made to be worn, cherished and passed on.

A Home for Irish Design
For over 35 years, The Cat & The Moon has been a home for Irish craft and design. As its founder and owner, Martina has created a space that celebrates Ireland’s most talented makers. Her own jewellery and artwork sit alongside their work—each piece a reflection of the creativity, heritage and craftsmanship that define Irish design.
