About this piece

A representation in sterling silver of the beauty of the reeds woven together each Spring to honour St. Brigid. The 1st of February marks the first day of spring, and is also known as Lá Fhéile Bhríde, Saint Brigid's Feast Day. However this gorgoeus and special piece is worn year round as a symbol of love and protection. In ancient Irish mythology, Brigid was a fire goddess, and the feast day is also known as the Celtic celebration Imbolc.
