About this piece

A representation in sterling silver of the beauty of the reeds woven together each Spring to honour St. Brigid. The 1st of February marks the first day of spring, and is also known as Lá Fhéile Bhríde, Brigid's Feast Day. Her pre-Christian feast day is known as the Celtic celebration Imbolc.
